ARRESTS IN EGYPT. AIANY DOCUAIENTS SEIZED. SOVIET UNEASINESS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Times Cables.) Received Alay 8, 11.15 a.m. CAIRO, Alay 7. The Times’s Cairo ’ correspondent states: “Tho authorities arrested, and later deported, 21 Russian, Italian and. Greek Communists in Cairo and Alexandria. They are regarded as the backbone of a revival of Communism activities, which have become a serious danger. Other arrests arc imminent. Many documents have been seized.” NOTORIOUS BELA ICUN. QUESTION OF EXTRADITION. (Times Cables.) Received Alav 8, 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Alay 7. The Times’s Riga correspondent states that the Soviet leaders are exceedingly uneasy regarding the consequences following the arrest of tho notorious Communist Bela Kun, who returned to Austria recently from Russia. They have ordered the Soviet representatives at Vienna to do their utmost to prevent the extradition of Bela Kun to Hungary. At a Communist International protest meeting, energetic interference was urged if the Austrians handed over Bela Kun to the “Hungarian hangmen.” AIAY DAY IN BRISBANE. RED BANNERS. CARRIED. Received Alay 8, 9.45 a.m. BRISBANE, Alay 8. The Alay Day procession was noteworthy for red banners on which there were “Long live Soviet Russia 1” and similar inscriptions; also an eitgy of Air Bruce on the scaffold. COAIMUNISTS ARRESTED. Received Alav 8, 9.45 a.m. PERTH, Alay 8. A Communist disturbance occurred during the Alay Day procession. Four Communists were arrested and the others dispersed.
