The Coloniad Office announces that Mr Luke, Colonial Secretary in Sierra Leone (in tlie west coast of Africa) has been appointed Chief Secretary to the Government of Palestine in succession to Lieutenant-Colonel Syir.es, whose appointment as Resident and Commandcr-in-Chief at Aden was recently approved by the King.
