THIS AIORNING’S SESSIONS

JUDGES’ AWARDS. The sessions of the competitors were continued this morning, when various classes were heard. Considerable interest was, taken in the children’s sections and the public attendance was excellent. Tho ladies’ elocutionary section was commenced this afternoon and promises to be the strongest in tho competition. Amongst those competing are Aliss Al. Craig (Wanganui), last year’s champion, and Alesdames Sperrmg and Darbyshiro who have won championships at Wlmganni. In addition, several well-known local competitors will be heard.
