The success of the venture in running an excursion tram from Palmerston Nor to Puekakariki and hack on holiday, 15th January, has induced the Railway Department to repeat the arrangement on Sunday, 29th January, and to meet the wishes of a large number the train will be extended through to Wellington, lhis will enable Palmerston North residents to have an opportunity of spending the day in the capital city and returning in the evening or following day. The fares are at a very cheap rate and tickets are available for return until the following day
