IJOR the purpose of enabling the Pal- . merston North Borough Council to purchase and. acquire the McHardy property, applications are hereby invited for the purchase of debentures in the dominations of £SOO and £IOOO, maturing on the Ist day of March, 1938. The debentures are secured by Special Rate and Sinking Fund, and can be strongly recommended as a safe and thoroughly sound investment with gilt-edged security, interest payable half-yearly.
