THROWN FROM HORSE.
T AUM AR.UNUI, Jan. 20. When R F. Beutras, chairman of the Mananui Town Board, was riding along the Kakahi Roa'd, his horse shied *nd he fell heavily to the ground. Mr Beutras was in a dazed condition when found some time after the accident and he had a severe cut on the head. He was brought to Taumarunui by Mr John Watkins, and after receiving medical attention, was able to return to his home.
