LEG AMPUTATED.
INJURIES IN COLLISION.

CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 19. The' amputation of a fractured left leg was necessary in the case of Roy Sullivan, aged 20, who was involved in a collision between his motor cycle and a motor car driven by Joseph B. Neale at the intersection of Barbadoes Street and Ferry Road at 5 p.m. yesterday. Sullivan’s condition is reported to be satisfactory.
