LONDON, NOV. 29. In answer to a question in the House of Commons, Hon W. G. A. OrmsbyGore, Under-Secretary for the Colonies in answer to a. question said tliat tlio convention between the Turkish Petroleum Company and the Government of Irak provided that the company must continue to be registered in Britain and have its chief place of business within the Empire -frith a chairman of British nationality.—A. and N.Z. cable.
