As a result of the slackness in trade, the financial stringency and the entry of cheap foreign goods, another large Sydney firm, the George A. Bond Coy., Ltd.,, hosiery and underwear manufacturers, propose to go into voluntary liquidation. The company’s assets total £1,522,408, and it employs 1200 women and 800 men.—Press Association.
