AERIAL TRIP TO SURF
LONDON, Aug. 22. Two brothers named Jackman living at Slough (Buckinghamshire) fancying a sea bath, flew 50 miles in their re-cently-acquired Moth to Littlehampton (Sussex), alighted on the beach, enjoyed their dip, and returned home in time for breakfast. The pilot says the trip took half-an-hour each way, and the cost was 4s. “We intend to have many more, if the weather is fine,” he adde, “and will often fly to Paris.”
