ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Sept. 2. At the inquest to-day on William Gillespie, who was found dead in his office this morning, the coroner returned a verdict that death was due to gas poisoning, but he was not prepared to say whether the gas was self-adminis-tered or accidental.
