BURWOOD TRAGEDY
ALLEGATION OF MURDER. BOAKES COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 1. The magistrate committed Charles William Boakes for trial at the Supreme Court on the charge of murdering Gwendoline Isobel Scarff at Burvood in June last.
