YOUNG BOY’S DEATH.
CHRISTCHURCH FATALITY. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 31. At tli© inquest into the death of Val Vincent Armstrong, aged 15, the youngest son of Mr H. T. Armstrong, M.P., the coroner returned a verdict that death was due to asphyxiation caused by a rope becoming accidentally coiled round the boy’s neck as he was trying to reach a bicycle on a shelf.
