PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Aug. 16.

The annual meeting of the Presbyterian Church, Bulls (which includes Carnarvon, Parewanui, and Raumai), was held in Clifton Hall on Thursday, August 11. The Moderator (Rev. Mclvor) presided.

The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed, and the balance sheet for the year ending June 30, 1927, was adopted. Reports were read as follow: Kirk Session (Mr Stewart), Sunday School (Mrs Stevenson), Bible class (Mrs Mclntosh), the P.W.M.U. (Mrs Stevenson), Busy Bees (Mrs McGregor), Ladies’ Guild (Mrs Stevenson), and Maori Mission Birthday League (Mrs Mclntosh). The Moderator complimented the speakers on the ablo manner in which the replorts were presented; all reports, also the financial statement, being clearly set out. Managers were elected as follow: Mesdames Stevenson, Mclntosh, McGregor and R. Carter; Messrs F. Melhuish (Flock House), Ronald John (Flock House), Guy (Raumai), _ Webby (Carnarvon), Amen (Parewanui), McGregor, Campion and Carter. Votes of thanks were accorded the Sunday school teachers, Bible class teachers, the P.W.M.U. and the Ladies’ Guild; Busy Bees and M.M.8.L.; the secretary, managers, Kirk Session; the organist (Miss Dalziel); Mrs Scott (Carnarvon); Mrs McKenzie and Miss Brookie (Parewanui), Miss Guy (Raumai); Miss Campbell (Flock House) and the Moderator. Greetings were sent to Rev Ireland, Mrs Ireland, and “Wee Goordie” Ireland. Supper followed, and the meeting concluded with the Benediction. C.E.rd.S. A meeting of the Bulls branch of the Church of England Men’s Society was held in Bulls on Friday, delegates attending from Palmerston North, Wanganui and Aramoho. Tho meeting was held for the purpose of discussing the reorganisation of the society, and to assist local members of the committee set up by tho Wanganui conference to draw up a scheme to place before the dommittee when it meets in Wellington shortly. Rev H. E. Jones, M.A., was elected chairman, and Bro G. W. Drewitt secretary. RANGITIKEI DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED. The twenty-sixth annual report to be presented to shareholders of the Rangitikei Dairy Company, Limited, on Saturday, August 20, states that, during the past year, 458£ tons of butter were manufactured—a redord for tile company—while the average grade (over 95) is the highest ever obtained by any company in New Zealand. The value of herd-testing is stressed, and reference made to the valuable services over a long period of years rendered by tho retiring directors, Messrs T. -F. Richardson (Ohakea) and L. M.‘ Richards (Bulls). RANGITIKEI GOLF CLUB. Following is the draw for the ladies’ fouraomes, to be played at Bulls on Wednesday : —Mrs Mackay and Mrs Marumaru play Mrs Ralfe and Miss Clapcott; Miss Kebbell and Mrs Prichard play Misses P. Perrett and O. Levett; Mrs Tremewan and bliss Taverner play Mrs Levett and Miss Walker; Mrs De Burgh and Mrs Mansell play Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Tricker; Mrs Drew and Mrs Harris play Misses D. Perrett and Brookie; Mrs Carter and Miss McKenzie play Mrs Anderson and Miss Bailey; Mrs McDonell and Mrs Thompson play Miss Wilson and Mrs Watson; Mrs Goodall and Miss Amon play Mrs Law and Miss Goodall.
