According to the Star’s wireless writer, what is believed to be a untoue discovery in wireless transmission knd reception has been made by Mr Frink N. Sinclair, of Scarborough, Sumner. Shortly put, the discoveiy is tint, without the aid of batteries or the ordinary microphone, the common crystal set, with a pair of phones, acts fas a wireless transmitter when coupM to an aerial which is placed close to tee aerial of the valve receiver. The valve set’s aerial system picked up by indn :- tion from the crystal set’s aerial, music and speech, delivered close to tie crystal set phones in a house 1201 b away, being reproduced by a neighbouring valve set’s loud speaker. !
