FOOTBALL ETIQUETTE.
WHO WAS TO BLAME? (To tho Editor.) Sir,—As an enthusiastic follower of our national game I was a spectator at the Showgrounds to see the game between Te Auto and the High School teams—a game which, in tho years gone by, used to bo played between Te Auto and Wanganui. I was much impressed by tho exhibition of what I term “bad manners” by the supporters of the local team. Wasn’t it Supposed to be a friendly tussle between two teams noted for their excellence Why the organised demonstration to applaud the good play of only one side? Good taste and sportsmanship was conspicuous by its absence.—l am, ' tC ‘ ! DEAFENED.
