HAWKE’S BAY TOURNEY. LOCAL PLAYER’S SUCCESS. At the recent Hawke’s Bay tennis tournament, which was held at Napier, E. D. Andrews, of Palmerston North, was in great form, winning all three championship events. In the men’s singles, Andrews beat J. M. Lowry, 6—2, 6—l. In the mixed doubles, Andrews and Mrs Hetley beat Lowry and Miss Lowry, 6—2, 6—2. In the men’s doubles, Andrews and Lowry beat Guy and Wellwood,’6 —2, 6—3.
