LONG RUN.
LONDON TO BRIGHTON. LONDON, April 9. The London to Brighton relay running race a distance of 53 miles and 1432 yards, divided into ten sections, started at 11 a.m. yesterday from Westminster. v ~ Twenty clubs competed. Very heavy showers flooded the roads in places. Hallarn Shire Harriers won in 4 hours 41 minutes 17 seconds, which is a record. Birclifield Harriers were second in 4 hours 46 minutes 48 seconds, and South London Harriers third m 4 hours ;52 minutes 15 seconds.
