ELECTION OF COMMITTEES. BUNNYTHORPE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of householders took place on Thursday, 21st inst., there being 26 householders present including 12 a ,ies. Mr W. J. Maxwell was voted to the chair and he read the repert for • the past year which has alrei dy appeared in the “Standard.” T 1 => secretary, Mr L. Pascoe, read tl ) balance-sheet which showed receipts £l9l 2e 6d and expenditure £l4B s sd, leaving a credit balance of £4S 4s Id. The report and balanoe-sheet \/e e adopted on the motion of the chni man, seconded by Mr J. H. Dixon. A vote of th nks was accorded to the headmaster, Vlr J. O. Webber, and his staff for the success of their work during the pa t year. Mr J. 0. Webber suitably responded. On the motioi of Mr J. H. Dixon, seconded by Mi A. T. Mitchell, a hearty vote of tl inks was accorded the outgoing commit :eo The ballot res ilted in the following new committee 1 eing elected : —Messrs W. J. Maxwell (chairman), J. H. Dixon, J. Seller t, W. Eggleton,. A. Polkinghorne, T Pa6coe and F. Burton. A number of r commendations to the new committeo v ere received and with a vote of than cs to the chair the meeting closed.

Coloy both polled an oqu il number for tho ninth position, tho castm ; vote was given to the former, a provious member of tho committee. A satisfactory ri sort was submitted by tho headmaster.
