LOAN TO RUSSIA.
BRITAIN WANTS SHIPBUILDING.
OTTAWA, April 20. A British ship-building concern has approached the chief concession committee of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics offering a 100 million dollars on long-term credits to build mercantile ships for the Soviet. According to the announcement of the trades delegation union office, the offer is under consideration. —A. and N.Z. cable.
