CAUSES JOCKEY’S DEATH
PROMINENT AMERICAN HORSEMAN.

George Archibald, a prominent American jockey, who has been riding in England since 1922, died of heart failure owing to excessive wasting. . Archibald had ridden over 1000 winners, in six countries, and topped the list for Germany, America, Australia and Spain. He had to reduce in one race yesterday to 110 pounds.—A. and N.£. cable.
