ROYALTY AT TOKAANU. DUCHESS LANDS A TROUT. PHOTOGRAPHED*WITH CATCH. Per Press Association. TOKAANU, March 2. The night passed quietly, steady rain keeping all of those in the Royal camp close indoors. The Duke and Duchess returned from the day’s fishing at about seven o’clock, the Duke’s tally for the day being five fair-sized fish. The Duchess was unsuccessful The party were early abed and early astir this morning. The Duke went down the stream a little after six o’clock. The Duchess following an hour and a half later. \ The Duke’s luck was out, but Her Royal Highness hooked a trout after half an hour’s fishing, and about ten minutes’ play sufficed to bring the fish to the gaft. The Duchess was photographed with her catch. She was highly elated with her success, and the news of it caused much satisfaction in tire camp. The catch scaled at between six and 6even pounds. Their Royal Highnesses returned at ten o’clock for breakfast. The weather, which early in the morning had been drizzling thickly., at this time had cleared with not a breath of .wind stirring, and though heavy clouds overhung the "locality, it was expected that the sun would presently come out. At the time of wiring it was expected that Their Royal Highnesses would probably make anothew expedition to the fishing pool.
