NEW WORLD FLIGHT.
ZEPPELIN TO BE USED. GERMAN’S PROPOSAL. BERLIN, Dec. 23. Dr. Hugo Eckener will )■ attempt a round-the-world flight, including Australia, as soon as Zeppelin LZI2B is completed and tested. The airship will follow tho SevilleBuenos Aires line, and fly thence across the Pacific, but it is possible that no landings will bo made, as a now light fuel gas will bo used instead of heavy ‘gasoline. Successful tests of Maybach motors using Dr. Lampertz’s gas fuel warrant the use of the latter in the airship, which will be 50 per cent larger than the airship Los Angeles. The new invention is being guarded with the greatest secrecy. At the conclusion of the world flight, it is intended that the Zeppelin be permanently employed on the European South American service.
