INQUEST ON VICTIMS. ** Per Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, Dec. 31. The inquest on the victims of the Wanganui river tragedy yesterday, Thyra and Mavis D.ette, was- held this morning, .when a verdict^. -was returned that Mavis was accidentally drowned and that Thyra met her death while attempting to save her sister.
