Mr White, for Gillies, said that the latter had been absent from the office ill for some months. Though on examination many items would be credited to Gillies, there must be a considerable deficit and Gillies was rot opposing the motion. Mr Gallan, for the Law Society, asked that the matter be reserved for the Appeal Court, and that Gillies in the meantime be suspended from practice. The judge took this course.
