EDUCATIONAL MATTERS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 24\ A deputation representing the Education Institute approached tho Minister for Education regarding superannuation provisions and asked that the time spent in the training colleges should count. It was requested that the teachers should be brought into line with other branches of the civil service in regard to tho right of appeal against non-appointment. _' Tho Minister,-in reply, said that, as far as superannuation matters were concerned, he was with the deputation and would bring the matter before Cabinet at an early date. The other matter would receive his earnest consideration.
