MEXICAN SCHOOLS.
RELIGIOUS TEACHING BANNED. MEXICO - CITY, July 23. President Calles on . Friday proclaimed regulations giving effect to tjie' constitutional prohibition of religious teaching in private schools. The regulations supplement the religious laws, which became, effective at the end of the month, giving the Government complete power to regulate churches and schools. Henceforth no minister of any religious cult may act as director or teacher in a. private school, and chapels, oratories ana other places of worship are banned in all schools.—and TJ.Z. cable.
