NATIVE TREES.
TRANSPLANTED TO ENGLAND. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, July 22. Success has attended the transplanting of New Zealand tree ferns arid native trees, which were presented to the Plymouth City Council. (England) by the Auckland City Council. Thanks for the gift have been received by the Mayor of Auckland, the letter stating the trees arrived in England last April and that 85 pci- cent, of them were growing splendidly.
