MANAWATU HUNT.
JULY FIXTURES. Manawatu Hunt fixtures for July have been drawn up as follow: SaturWednesday, July 7, Kiwitea; Saturday, day, July, 3 at the kennels, Awapuni; July 10, Rangitikei 'line; Wednesday, July 14, annual ball; Wednesday 21,' Te Matai; Saturday July 24, Aokautere; Wednesday, July 28, Kiwitea; Saturday, July 31, point-to-point steeplechase meeting at Te Matai. ANNUAL BALL. Preliminary arrangements for the annual ball were made at a largelyattended meeting of the ball committee of the Hunt last evening, Mr D. B. McEwen presiding. The secretary reported that a first-class professional orchestra had been engaged, and that arrangements had been made for having the catering dog£ on a more extensive scale than formerly. Other matters were discussed and a scheme of decorations decided upon.
