GAS POISONING.
UNEMPLOYED MAN’S DEATH. Per Press Association. "MASTERTON, Juno 24. Vincent James Prosser, aged 58 years, an unemployed ironmonger, took his life at 9.30 to-night, by coal gas poisoning. He had been feeling ill, and remained in bed all day. At 9 o’clock lie was seemingly alright, but. at 9.30 liis wife discovered him dead in bed with a length of garden hose in his mouth, and the other end attached to a gas bracket. • He is survived by a wifo, and a family of four.
