EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS.
FURTHER CELEBRATIONS. HUGE PILGRIMAGE. NEW~YORK, June 23.. The fourth day of the Eucharistic Congress at Chicago was set aside as a higher education day. Another huge gathering assembled, composed of the elder boys and girls from Chicago church schools, the girls in white dresses and the boys in white blouses, all with cap or sash of gold, making a striking picture. Many schools brought tlreir own bands, there being at least 50 within the stadium, sometimes 25 playing simultaneously. The Papal delegate, with cardinals and suites, again presided. The concluding ceremonies of the congress take place to-morrow at Mundelein, which is 40 miles from Chicago and named after Cardinal Mundelein. Three-quarters of a million .people are expected to attend. Large numbers are already making the pilgrimage in order to avoid congestion on "the roads and trains, and many are equipped with tents and cooking ritensils, with the intention of camping on the scene. —A and N.Z. cable.
