FEILDING STOCK SALE.

TO-DAY’S SALE,

[From Our Own Correspondent.] About nine thousand sheep of an improved quality were yarded at to-day’s Feilding sale, the fat section selling at advanced prices. Cattle entries were light, but the beasts yarded were heavier than usual. A line of select dairy cows sold at prices indicative of value. Prices up to one o’clock were as follow : Fat b.f. lambs, 20s 9d, 22s 9d, 23s sd; fat w.f. lambs, 18s lid, 21s lOd; fat wethers, 265, 275, 29s 6d, 30s 3d, 30s lOd, 31s; fat owes, 17s lOd, 18s 7d, 19s 9d, 235, 23s 10d, 24s 7d; mixed ewes and wethers, 31s 3d; poor empty ewes, 11s 3d; 4-tooth wethers passed in at 17s 3d. Good quality Jersey cows in milk, £ls; Jersey cows due in August. £7 55,, £B, £8 2s 6d, £9 10s; Jersey-Shorthorn cross cows, 32s 6d, £2, £2 10s, £3 7s 6d.
