The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:—Beef: Good yardings of both prime ox* and cow beef aro coming forward, and contrary to expectations there has been practically no rise, best prime ox making up to 31s per lOOlbs and best cow and heifer up to 265. Fat sheep: Plenty of fat sheep are offering both in yards and paddocks with no rise since our last report. Store sheep: There is still a fair inquiry for most classes, lM>ggets, wethers and ewes in lamb being sought after, but empty ewes and cull sheep are not in demand. Store cattle: Stores aro still coming forward from Hawke’s Bay, and considering the condition are making good money, grown steers and young male cattle being wanted, but store cows and yearling heifers are dull of sale. Dairy cattle: There is a good inquiry for good in calf heifers, also for good dairy herds, but inferior of both these classes are not wanted. Pigs: The market continues firm for baconors and porkers, prices being equal .to about 6j[d. Stores are on the rise and meeting with ready sale. Horses: The market continues quiet for all classes.
