FLOCK HOUSE.
reunion programme. Wednesday was a field day at Flock House when, in connection with the annual reunion of the trainees now being held the camp was inspected by Major-General Young (General Office Commanding the New Zealand Forces), who was accompanied by Colonel C. G. Towles (Officer Commanding Central Command), Hon. E. Newman (chairman of trustees of the fund), and Mr T. R. Lees (managing trustee). General Young expressed himself as very pleased with the result of his inspection of some 200 boys, comprising former trainees of the station and 68 boys now resident at Flock House, who were divided up into platoons constituting the respective drafts from England from time to time. General Young addressed the boys and impressed upon them the need to apply the same tidiness and orderliness of camp existence in their own livesFlock House, ho said, was talked about a great deal all over New Zealand, rt behoved the boys' to do their utmost to shoulder their responsibilities and justify the faith reposed in them. In the evening the second of a series of cinema lectures arranged by the Department of' Agriculture was held and proved interesting and instructive. Yesterday was occupied in further camp routine and military drill, the evening being occupied by another lecture by Mr W. J. McCulloch, instructor in agrictulture at Palmerston North. There was also a screening of a Talmadge film, the excellent cinematograph apparatus used for the purpose enabling ideal projection. The major event of the reunion takes place next Wednesday evening when Sir Heaton Rhodes is expected to attend the annual prize-giving.
