BILLIARDS.
The tournament conducted this week by tho billiards committee of the It.S.A. took tho form of a snooker competition, the continued intcirfr.lt displayed by members being evidenced by tho increased number of competitors, who totalled 17. The termination of play found Mr E. F. Trig" the winner, with Messrs E. Davis and W. Haybittle second and third respectively. The highest scratch scocc returned during the play was registered by Mr E- Bee, who made 43 during one of the qualifying rounds.
