POST-GRADUATE WORK.
PROFESSOR MILLS CRITICAL.
LONDON, June 12,
Professor Mills, of Sydney University, speaking at the Anzac Medical Association’s dinner, vigorously criticised England’s post-graduate work. There was nothing to be proud of, he said in the proposal to establish a postgraduate hospital for Australian medical students. The only solution was that post-graduate work of every description should be established. Sir Squiro Brigge and Sir Dawson Williams (editor of the British Medical Journal) agreed as to the necessity for developing post-graduate work ' among young Australian medical men. If Australians wanted post-graduate work, they added, there was plenty available in Britain.
