While engaged yesterday m shifting some furniture, a local resident removed his coat and vest. It was an unfortuif&te action for when he again donned tho garments he found that a gold watch and some other articles, valued in all at about £2O, had been stolen. It is stated also, that a local auctioneer when about to commence a sale at a private residence, found that several of the articles for sale had been taken. •
