MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.

POSTAL CUP MATCHES. R.S.A. CLUB’S BIG SCORE. Last week the third series of postal matches under the auspices of the Mannwatu Miniature Rifle Association were completed, the shooting generally being of a fairly high standard, the R.S.A. Club in the A section making the splendid score of 777, an average of 97 out of the possible 100. The Ohakea Club in the B section also made a large score, making 766, an average not quite 96 per man. All round there seems to be a slight improvement, especially by the' High School Club, who have proved with a little coaching that they will soon be able to hold their own against the stronger clubs.
