WHITEHALL SENSATION.
MAN UNDER TABLE. LONDON, June 10. Scotland Yard authorities Jire investigating a mysterious breaking into of the Cabinet’s offices in Whitehall Gardens. . During-the early hours of June 8 a -watchman heard a secret alarm ringing, and summoned an armed colleague. They searched the rooms, and found a man with muddy clothes and boots hiding under a table in a room in which were stored confidential documents. He had gained entranco by a window by means of a jemmy. Wlien arrested he told the detectives that lie did not know where he was.
