RAUMAI & DISTRICT NOTES.
[From Our Own Correspondent.] There was a large attendance at the Raumai riflo range on Saturday afternoon on tlio occasion of the annual rose bowl shoot. Threo competitors made 96 points each, but Mr P. Leamy won on the count back, having finished up with two bulls. Mr Leamy received quite an ovation on his win, this being the second time in succession ho has annexed tlio rose bowl. The leading scores were as follow :
A match was also held between tho president’s (Mr W. Smart) team and vicoprosident’6 (Mr J. D. Balmcr) team, which resulted in a win for the vice-president’s by six points. Tho teams were: Presidents, H. W. Smart, J. Rix, C. Spclman, J. Brooking, D. Balmcr, J. Rowbothani J. Leaniy and D. Wat6on; vice-presidents, J. D. Balmcr, Bunn. Tho scores were: Vice-president’s team, 205, 235, 205, total 645; president’s Spelinan, C. Young, T, Loamy and E. W Balmcr P. Leamy, J. Spolman, D. team, 218, 219, 202, total 639.
