WOMEN PLAYERS’ DRESS. LONDON, June 21. Nothing was more amusing in the Wimbledon pageant than the contrast between the press photographs of women players in 1908, in long, stiff skirts, and the modern players in flimsy, scanty, but more graceful attire. There is keen regret that no Australian champions were in the pageant of players.—A. and N.Z. cable.
