Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 22. William Joseph Boyd, who had been remanded from Friday to allow the Customs Department to ascertain whether the Immigration Restriction Act provided for an immigrant being prohibited on the ground of infirmity, reappeared at the Magistrate’s Court on a charge of being a prohibited immigrant in that he was infirm. » The Collector of Customs stated that he could find no reason why the man should be held under the Act, and the information was dismissed.
