POSITION OF WOMEN. Received June 23, 12.20 p.m. LONDON, June 22. A conference of the British Commonwealth League in London discussed the position of women in connection with Empire settlement and adopted a resolution calling on the Governments of the Dominions to employ an adequate number of women in salaried and voluntary positions in all schemes of migration.—A. and N.Z. cable.
