SCHOOLS’ COMPETITION. The second round of the primary schools’ competitions was entered upon yesterday afternoon when the following matches were played: Senior grade.—Hokowhitu 12 beat College Street nil; West End 9 beut Terrace End nil; Central 21 beat Convent nil. Junior grade.—Terrace End 18 beat AVest End 5; Central 24 beat Convent nil; College .Street and Hokowhitu played a drawn game, no score being recorded.
