SHEEP STEALING.
SHEPHERD FOUND GUILTY. Per Press Association. NAPIER, June 11. In the Supreme Court to-day Henry Woon was found guilty on five charges of stealing 37 sheep from William Richmond, of Te Mata, in whose employ ho was head shepherd. Sentence was deferred. Accused was also found guilty of the theft of wool, valued at £l2, but the jury failed to agree on a charge of stealing four cattle. _ Application was made for a new trial.
