Gadd won the Daily Dispatch prize, involving the northern professional championship with, a total of 296 for 72 holes. Of the eight Americans competing, Melhorn was first with 299. —Reuter. E. R. Whitcombe and Davies, each with 299, were with Melhorn for second place. Watrous and Compston, with 302 each, were in eighth place. Howard’s score was 319. —A. and N.Z. cable.
