SELF MURDER.
CORONER’S RULING. LONDON, 'May 27. “No man has a right to take his own life. He is committing murder, according to our law,”- the coroner told Lady Walpole at the inquest at which she gave evidence that her husband. Sir Charles Walpole, who was found shot at the week-end, recently said that sooner than be a nuisance with a lingering illness he thought anyone would be right to commit suicide. Sir Charles, who was 78 years of age, became peculiar after taking a sunbath without his hat. on the afternoon before his death, and a doctor gave evidence that, while he was perfectly healthy, there were indications of sunstroke. A verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned.
