SIGNS OF AGONY.
DEATH ON LONELY TRACK. HOBART, May 26. When the dead body of James Doherty, aged 65, was found on a track off the main road from Hobart to Huonville, near Mountain Lake, amid signs of a struggle, foul play was at first suspected. At the post-mortem examination, however, it was revealed that he had died from peritonitis following the rupture of an internal organ, which would cause him to die in great, agony.
