FEILDING STOCK MARKET.
TO-DAY’S SALE

About 5000 sheep and a medium entry of cattle- were offered at to-day’s stock sale at .Feilding. Fat sheep showed a rise in prices, and a large yarding of fat ewes was selling well. A few pens of exceptionally good-con-ditioned beasts came forward, and the prices on the whole were of a firmer tone. Prices up till one o’clock were as follow:
Fat lambs, b.f.. 21s, 21s lOd; w.f., 19s, 19s 3d to 255; one pet lamb brought 345. Fat ewes, 16s 6d, 18s, 19s, 20s; three pens were passed at 18s 6d. Wethers, 24s 7d to 27s 9d; b.f. wethers, 255; two lots were passed at 265. Store sheep, 4 and 5-year-old ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 24s 4d; 4-th wethers, 25s Bd. Dairy cows, £4 to £7; cow and calf, £5: store cows, 255, £2 to £3; 18-months Shorthorn steers and heifers, 275.
