Splendid tributes were paid to Mrs Aitchison for the way in which she had discharged her duties as secretary of the branch, and, on the motion of Lt.-Colonel Whyte, it was decided to make her an honorary life member. Among those who paid a compliment to the work of the secretary was Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, who referred in very eulogistio terms to Mrs Aitchison’s energy and enthusiasm.
